Biography

Giuseppe Fortunino Francesco Verdi (1813-1901), Italian composer, was born in Le Roncole on 10 October 1813. His most famous operas include Macbeth, Rigoletto, Aida, Otello and Falstaff. He died in Milan on 27 January 1901.
