Scope and Contents
Transcribed by Patrick Mac Oghannain from the Louvain edition of 1643, 24 Jan. 1686. In Irish, with some notes and translations in English. Also includes (pp. 174-80) 'Foras focal luighter libh', a metrical glossary, sometimes attributed to Sean mor O'Dubhagain (ed. W. Stokes, Transactions of the Philological Society 1891). The present copy contains 73 quatrains, arranged in the order in which they appear in Royal Irish Academy MS 23.L.21. On loose sheets are 19th cent. English translations...
