Contains 179 folios: a series of 32 philosophical disputations, nos 1-25 on the soul (fos 4-133) and nos 26-32 on Aristotle's Metaphysics (fos 134-167). On fos 169-173 is an analytical table of the series, imperfect at the end. Attached to fo. 178 is a broadside, Assertiones ex universa philosophia decerptae, by John Ducket (Lagos, 1655).

Includes disputations and questions. pp. 2 and 396-7 suggest that the MS. was compiled as an exercise by a student residing in Cagliari, Sardinia. Inside front cover: 'Samuel Sandars 1869', and note by Sandars, whose bookplate is at p. i.

Scope and Contents Contains: 198 folios: (fo. 4) notes taken from lectures on logic; (fo. 47) notes on Aristotle, De somno et vigile; (fo. 51) notes on Aristotle, De generatione et corruptione; (fo. 83) notes on Aristotle, De anima; (fo. 168) notes on metaphysics; (fo. 191) index. The notes are written neatly and clearly divided with numbered headings into treatises and sections.
