Joseph Bokenham, A Collection of Poems and Historical Miscellanies, c 1716
After Bokenham's autograph is the following note, 'Joseph Bokenham, afterwards [1712] Rector of Stoke Ash, Suffolk. [He died in 1728.] An antiquary of some eminence. My Father's Mother, Sarah Bokenham, was his Sister. Gough, in his British Topography, Vol. II. p. 5, calls him an eminent Herald and Antiquary. M[artin] J[oseph] R[outh], 1806.' The volume is labelled Bokenham's Miscellanies, and appears to be in his handwriting.
