Andrew Sydenham Farrar Gow (1886-1978), Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge, 1911-14 and 1925-79; Assistant Master at Eton College, 1914-25; College Lecturer at Trinity College, 1925-46; Lecturer at Cambridge University, 1925-51; Tutor at Trinity College, 1929-42; Praelector, 1946-51; Brereton Reader in Classics at Cambridge University, 1947-51.
