Comprises single items or small collections, chiefly correspondence, donated to or purchased by Cambridge University Library, together with a number of items and fragments found in Cambridge University Library books and bindings.

There were 18 Prospero Poets editions, from 1994 to 1997. Most subseries here include papers relating to the individual publication and to the accompanying Clarion Newsletter. Further correspondence involving the designer Dennis Hall and series editor Simon Rae will be found in subseries D1.

Drafts and copies of the poems commissioned for the Thresholds Project, together with other poems produced during the residencies, and related items. The participating poets were supplied with 'Thresholds' notebooks, some of which form part of the collection.
