Biography

The poet and editor Ann Gray was born in 1948, grew up in Cambridge, was educated at the Perse, and lives and works in Cornwall where she has a care home for people with dementia. She has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of Plymouth. Her collections include 'Painting Skin' (Fatchance Press, 1995), 'The Man I Was Promised' (Headland, 2004) and 'At the Gate' (Headland, 2008). She has been a guest reader on Arvon courses and a tutor at Ty Newydd.

Scope and Contents

Work by Ann Gray arising from a residency at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. Includes autograph and word-processed document printout drafts of: 'Pressing beauty'; 'Parrotia persica'; 'Morus alba'; and 'Metasequoia glypstroboides', with printouts of web pages. All printouts were supplied by Gray.
