Two typescript translations of Akhmatova’s 'Requiem', one prepared by Riley (on foolscap sheets) and the other an exact copy prepared by Tim Longville (on lined paper) with some suggested changes on a separate sheet.
Letters and occasional poems and prose from Tim Longville to John Riley. Much of the correspondence is concerned with matters relating to the 'Grosseteste Review' and Grosseteste Press. Contains 277 letters and enclosures. Many of the letters are undated.
Contains an original file labelled ‘Poems to be considered’ holding photocopied or carbon-copied poems by Andrew Crozier, Michael Grant, Tim Longville and David Miller. Also includes a letter from Longville to Riley dated 26 September 1974.

Contains undated manuscript drafts of 11 poems and pages 4 and 6 of a letter from Longville. The letter includes a reference to the ‘Monroe Story’ and is presumed to refer to the aftermath of the death of Marilyn Monroe in August 1962.
Contains typescript drafts of eight poems signed ‘Timothy Longville’ and dated 24 August 1963. Includes a draft of the poem ‘Silkie’ which also appears in MS Add.10038/7/4. Several of the poems are annotated in the hand of Riley and dated July or August.
Contains sewn quarto sheets: ‘The Ground: Twenty Two Poems by Timothy Longville. May/August 1963’. Includes a draft of the poem ‘Silkie’ which also appears in MS Add.10038/7/3 and a manuscript draft or translation of a poem in the hands of Longville and Riley. Some of the poems are annotated in the hand of Longville.
