Biography

Michael Horovitz (b. 1935), poet, translator and editor. His publications include the journal 'New Departures', founded in 1959; the Penguin anthology 'Children of Albion: Poetry of the Underground in Britain' (1970); 'Growing Up: Selected Poems and Pictures, 1951-'79' (1979); 'Wordsounds and Sightlines: New and Selected Poems' (1994); and 'A New Waste Land: Britain at Nillennium' (2000).
