Sixteen letters from Judson concerning his method of finding longitude and his solution for squaring the circle, sent from Beverly, Yorkshire; with a related letter from Charles Dundas to the Admiralty. Many of the letters from Judson begin with traverse tables, calculations, or diagrams. The letters are largely to George Gilpin, with Nevil Maskelyne, Sir Philip Stephens and Dundas as other recipients.
