Letter from William Harvie to George Gilpin, 1804-04-13

Scope and Contents Concerning his method of determining longitude, which he called 'Longitude discovered by an Observation of the Sun'. Harvie mentions that he had been a master in the merchant service and was in the navy, but was now 76 years old and 'an old worn out seaman'.
