Scope and Contents The papers provide a detailed and most interesting account of developments in radar with which Dr Bowen was involved from 1935 until 1978. Sections 1 to 3 deal respectively with early warning, airborne and centimetre wave radar while Section 4 is concerned with the wartime Tizard Mission to the United States and work being done there on microwave radar.
