Scope and Contents The contents of a guardbook of letters received by Flamsteed, 162 folios. The dorses have often been used by Flamsteed for rough calculations. The correspondents include several people connected with Flamsteed's living of Burstow or with other property. The volume is dated 1693, but the contents are probably mainly from 1692-1693. Most of the writing is in Margaret Flamsteed's hand, but Samuel Clowes' handwriting also features.
