Letter from WSC to Lieutenant General Carl Spaatz [Commanding General, United States Strategic Air Forces in Europe] thanking him for the album of photographs showing the work of the 8th and 15th United States Air Forces, and stating, "I can imagine no finer record of the great contribution which the Air Forces under your Command have made to the successes of the Anglo-American Armies since their landing in Europe".
