Born 7.1.1768 Roi de Naples et d'Espagne. After Waterloo (1815) went to USA, took title Cte de Survilliers; from 1832 was in London, 1837-39 in USA again. Returning to London, suffered paralysis, and from 1841 to his death went to Florence for a change of climate. Died 28.7.1844.

Letter (no envelope or outer cover) to James Dunlop to the effect that - The writer returns to Mr Dunlop the tableau, cast in bronze, of the seated Emperor studying a map, and assures him it is a perfect likeness. Dated 'Londres 5 avril 1833'.
