Biography

Francis Gregson was a war correspondent during the Sudan Campaign of 1898. He is possibly the photographer of a series of views of the Sudan Campaign 1898.

159 x 115 mm. A view showing an unidentified war correspondent standing beside a makeshift tent. This is presumably Gregson (the supposed photographer of the album). The photograph is stuck on to an album page entitled 'Omdurman'.
