Coloured photographs. The collection was made in connection with a proposed hotel development and the first fifty-two prints show scenes on the Ffryes Point Estate, on the west coast, about seven and a half miles from St. John's and twelve from the airport, where the hotel was to be built. Most of the prints measure 210 mm x 160 mm, though a few are slightly smaller, and all are excellent photographs.Between 1959 and 1965 sixteen states and the British Colony of Aden joined to form the Federation of South Arabia.
