Biography

The RCS Photograph Collection contains one photograph by 'Anne Bolt, 5 Kent Terrace, London, N.W.1., Paddington 4270, Institute of British Photographers'. The photograph is stamped 1965. This possibly refers to the Anne Bolt born November 21st 1912. She was a member of the London Freelance Branch and served as both the chair of the Branch and of the Freelance Industrial Council. She was active in the area of copyright law. Bolt died on December 9th 1996.

247 x 190 mm. Showing cannon emplacements in the rock cavern, tunnelled into the North Face. The caption on the back reads 'Part of the tunnel system drilled in the living rock by British Sappers during the great siege of 1779'.
