Biography
Arthur R.H. Mann was a amateur photographer. He was a traveller in Africa in 1935 but little else is known about him. He left London on June 20th 1935 and travelled via Egypt, the Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, the Belgium Congo (now Congo), French Equatorial Africa and the Cameroons to South Africa, arriving in Johannesburg on October 31st. The RCS Library also holds four duplicate diaries describing the journey.

Collection of negatives, contact prints and enlargements. Mann travelled from London, which he left on 20 June 1935, via Egypt to the Sudan, Kenya, Uganda, Belgian Congo, French Equatorial Africa and the Cameroons to South Africa, arriving in Johannesburg on 31 October. 1-516 are enlargements of Mann's photographs and 517-575 are photographic postcards, chiefly of the Sudan.
