Biography

Cyril T. Adams was based on St Vincent in Chateaubelair, St David, circa 1902-14. He is listed under 'Photographers, Amateurs' in the 1914 edition of 'The St. Vincent handbook...'. However, in the same directory, he is also recorded as 'Adams, Cyril, T., Photogapher [sic]' (Anderson 1914, p.414 and 419).

171 x 120 mm. A mounted print showing the lake in the now quiescent crater of La Soufrière, with lava cliffs in the background. A few palms and other vegetation have been painted into the foreground.
