Prefixed is a letter of eight pages from Nicholas Carr to Sir Walter Mildmay, followed by a preface of 19 pages in which he discusses the merits of the ten orators and of Cicero; after which is given a translation of the three Olynthiacs and the four Philippics of Demosthenes, together with the arguments of Libanus. The manuscript is probably in the hand of Nicholas Carr.
