Scope and Contents Originally two books. (1) 'A Treatise of the Court of Star Chamber,' in 3 principal divisions, by William Hudson, of Grays Inn, Esq. This Treatise is anonymous, but in a copy of it in the Harleian MSS. No. 1226 (British Library), is a note by Chief Justice Finch ascribing it to Hudson, and stating that that particular copy was in the handwriting of his son, Christopher Hudson, who presented it to him (Finch).
