Biography

J. Botterill was a commercial photographer active in Australia. During the late 1860s he worked as part of Dunn, Wilson and Botterill. From 1870-74 he had a studio at 19 Collins Street East, Melbourne. From 1875-79 he was based at 12 Beehive Chambers, 116 Elizabeth Street, Melbourne (Davies and Stanbury 1985, p.136 and 156).
