Scope and Contents This collection documents the long friendship of the philosopher G. E. Moore and the railway administrator Sir R. L. Wedgwood and his wife Iris Lady Wedgwood. George Moore and Ralph Wedgwood were contemporaries as undergraduates at Trinity College, Cambridge, in the mid-1890s, and their friendship continued until Wedgwood's death in 1956. The principal contents of the collection are two sets of letters, Moore to Wedgwood and Wedgwood to Moore, and another set to Moore from Iris Wedwood, who...
