Biography

Arthur Leslie Robotham was an examiner for UCLES and OCSEB in Physics and related subjects. He examined both UK and international examinations. He was first appointed as an examiner while Head of Science at Merchant Taylors School, Northwood, London.

Robotham was appointed Chief Examiner for GCE O Level and School Certificate Physics around 1966 and remained as Chief Examiner until 1983. In 1969 he became a moderator of examination question papers. He represented examiners on the Subject Committees for General Science and Physics between 1975 and 1984.

Robotham retired to Walsham le Willows in Suffolk. He died in 2007.
