Biography

Margaret was both the daughter and wife of United States ambassadors and an accomplished scholar of Classics in her own right (Bryn Mawr College, Class of 1908). Amongst many diplomatic postings, her husband Lincoln MacVeagh was apponinted Roosevelt's Ambassador to Greece 1933-1941.
