Biography

Frederick Henry Anson was born in 1848, the son of Reverend Frederick Anson and Caroline Maria Vernon. He married Agnes Henrietta Acland in 1885 and they had two daughters, Mary Acland and Frances Gertrude Acland. Anson died on 23 December 1925.

Single letter from Frederick Henry Anson to Ida Darwin dated 17 August 1910. In the letter, Anson comments on two books he had borrowed from Ida Darwin, 'The Purple Land' by William Henry Hudson and a book on the 'feeble minded'.
