Scope and Contents

A satire on the Ministry of Munitions in the style of biblical text.
A letter to Frances Cornford, dated 29 March 1946, from J. R. M. Butler accompanies this copy, while he retains the original. Butler mentions 'Tom Jones', Deputy Secretary to the Cabinet from 1916 to 1935 under four Prime Ministers.
