Biography
Cicely Margaret Pryor was the daughter of Henry Pryor Powell, merchant. She wrote children's history books, edited anthologies, and made translations. On 12 April 1904 she married the poet and art historian (Robert) Laurence Binyon (1869-1943) and they had twin daughters, Helen and Margaret in December 1904 and a third daughter, Nicolete, born in 1911.

Contains 56 letters from Nora to Ida Darwin sent between 4 January and 22 December 1914.
