Biography

Josephine Honoria was the daughter of Rev. J. W. Hardman of Yatton, Somerset. She married first Digby Alexander Johns, a solicitor of Carrickfergus, Co. Antrim and they had a son, Bernard Digby Johns (1894-1916). Honoria married John Alexander French (1848-1916) on 11 December 1906. She died on 16 September 1928.

Single letter from Honoria French to Ida Darwin dated 13 August 1910, expressing sympathy on hearing news of Ida's accident, sending congratulations on Nora Darwin's engagment to Alan Barlow, and giving an account of a family holiday in Rathmullan, Co. Donegal.
