Biography

Fanny Henrietta Holland was born on 1 November 1836, the daughter of Thomas Holland of Heighington, near Lincoln. In June 1857 Fanny married the biblical scholar and theologian Fenton John Anthony Hort (1828–1892). They had five sons, one of whom died in infancy, and two daughters. Fanny died on 16 May 1925.
