Biography
Born Alma, Michigan in 1959. Educated at New York University, Brown University and the State University of New York at Buffalo. He has held teaching positions at Brown University, the University of California at Santa Cruz, the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and was poet-in-residence at Faculty of English, University of Cambridge, in 2011. His major publications include: 'Artificial Heart' (1998); 'The Outernationale' (2007); 'Threshold Songs' (2011); 'Archeophonics' (2016).
