Biography

Huang Yu Chia was a Chinese national born in Hong Kong. He joined Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1949, and was employed in the China Produce Department at Hong Kong before becoming Deputy Manager, then Manager, of the China Trading Department, Hong Kong, and an Assistant Director. He retired as a full-time executive in 1974, but continued to be employed as an advisor to the Board on Chinese Affairs.
