Biography

John Cyril Louie trained as a mechanical engineer before joining Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1953. He was employed by the company's subsidiary the Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd, becoming a Director in 1968 and the Managing Director in 1980. He was also an Assistant Director of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd. He retired from the company in 1983.
