Biography

Henry Hutchison Lennox joined Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1912, working initially in accounts. He was employed subsequently as the company's Agent at Harbin, Hankow and Tientsin, and as Acting Agent at Peking. He was stationed at Chungking and New York during the Second World War, before returning to China. He was a Director of the company, 1947-1954.
