Randle Holme (c.1601-59), genealogist, deputy herald of College of Arms for Lancashire, Mayor of Chester, 1643-44. It is however possible that the roll was written by his father, Randle Holme (1571-1655), genealogist, deputy herald of the College of Arms in Cheshire, Lancashire and North Wales, Mayor of Chester, 1633-34
