'Anita Klein was originally commissioned to provide a set of illustrations for a new edition of The Song of Songs to be designed by Trevor Weston in 1995. Of the 499 copies made, the great majority were soiled beyond salvation when extensive flooding overwhelmed the riverside storeroom in which they were lodged' - frontmatter to the second edition of 2009.
