Biography
Leonard Blomefield (1800-93) (formerly Leonard Jenyns), naturalist. Jenyns was Vicar of Swaffham Bulbeck, Cambs, for 30 years. He changed his name after inheriting an estate in 1871. It is not clear whether his notebooks passed through Alfred Newton's hands before they came to the Zoology Department.
