Scope and Contents From the Fonds: The Vine Press was the private press of John Peters (1917-1989) and Peter Foster (1919-2010) in the village of Hemingford Grey near Cambridge. From 1957 to 1963 the Press produced six books and a few ephemera. The business was run by Peters, and the archive consists mostly of his files. This series consists of: Morison's collection of papers on Gill deposited by him at Cambridge University Press on 24 May 1939; additions to this collection made by Brooke Crutchley; and later papers of Morison relating to Gill. All these papers are mixed here. Items 1-8 are correspondence of Gill; 9- 15 other correspondence; 16-60 all other material, arranged roughly chronologically.
