Biography

José Arnolfini, a Neapolitan prelate not otherwise identified, wrote these political discourses to the Spanish King, the first in the form of a letter on the likelihood of France under Louis XIV declaring war on Spain to obtain the Duchy of Brabant as dowry of his Spanish Queen, Maria Theresa; the second, a discourse on the present state of the Spanish monarchy, both written in the same hand.
