With notes by Strickland on a work on D. H. Lawrence by Holbrook; photocopies of printed articles; a photocopy of a letter to Strickland from Anthony Hartley of 'Encounter'; a poem, 'Atheist', in Strickland's hand; and two letters bearing news of Strickland's death, one from David Matthews to 'Tim and Eva' and one from 'Tim' to Holbrook.
