Biography

Admitted at King's College Cambridge 12 October 1896. BA 1898, MA 1907. Previously B. Sc London University 1890, Hon. Research Fellow at Owens College, manchester, 1892. Director of the Laboratory of the marine Biological Association, Plymouth, 1893-4. Senior Assistant to the Professor of Zoology at the Univresity of Glasgow. FRSE. Returned to Cambridge 1911. Left money to the University to establish a Chair in Animal Embryology - See Dr. E. J. Bles Fund.
