Hoare and other members of the Guild's council; correspondence relating to AGC's disagreements with the Honorary Secretary, C. W. Hume; correspondence with and memoranda from several scientists and industrial research associations concerning a proposed report by the Guild, on Science and the Nation; a draft preface and schema (by AGC) for the report; and copies of minutes of several meetings of council.
