Biography

Frederick William Rimmer (1914-98), organist, composer, was Gardiner Professor of Music, Glasgow University, 1966-80. He passed the MS to Sir David Willcocks, who contacted Rimmer in 1986 to offer it back. Rimmer asked him to keep it. The words are from the Pageant of the Shearmen and Tailors, Coventry Corpus Christi Plays.
