Biography
Anne Stevenson was born in Cambridge of American parents in 1933, and educated at the University of Michigan. From the 1960s onwards she has spent most of her life in the United Kingdom. Her volumes of poetry have been appeared under various imprints including Oxford University Press and, latterly, Bloodaxe Books.
