Biography
George Treherne delivered the law reading on statutes relating to forests, in French, at Gray's Inn, c.1520. It was translated into English by Henry, Lord Stafford of Gray's Inn in 1554 or 1555.

MS, paper, in a neat secretary hand, 76pp. The MS is bound in two vellum leaves from a 13th century MS of Genesis (Genesis 24 vv.36-48, 25 v.34 - 26 v.10), glossed with commentary from Walafrid Strabo, Glossa Ordinaria. [1] Incomplete charge to jurors or justices of the peace. [2] Incomplete copy of Lord Stafford's translation of George Treherne's reading on statutes relating to forests, made in c.1600, incomplete.
