Papers concerning the change in reckoning of the astronomical day, including 'The Report of the Committee on the 24 Hour Method of Expressing Time', 1919; correspondence with the Hydrographer concerning documents; correspondence between D.H. Sadler and the Royal Astronomical Society; and handwritten notes by Sadler on the history and timetable of the proposed change.
