Biography

John Roarty and Son had a studio at 115 King Street, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, 1892-97. A firm called J. Roarty and Co. had a studio at 416 George Street, Sydney, 1890-91. John Roarty had a variety of studios on George Street and Market Street, Sydney, from 1871-91 (Davies and Stanbury 1985, p.220).
