A head and shoulders portrait of Hime (1842-1919) : served in Bermuda as an enginner 1869-71; in Natal as Colonial Engineer 1875, responsible for work on the road system; member of Executive and Legislative Councils 1876-93; surveyed Natal-Orange Free State border in 1884-85; Minister of Lands and Works 1897-99; Premier of Natal 1900-03.
