Biography

Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Ltd is a leading air cargo terminal operator. It was formed in 1971 as a joint venture of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd, Swire Aviation Ltd, Hongkong & Kowloon Wharf & Godown Co. Ltd, Hongkong & Whampoa Dock Co. Ltd and the Hong Kong Government for the construction of a new air cargo terminal at Kai Tak Airport. The company began its operations at the airport in 1976. It transferred to Super Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport in 1998. Its major shareholders include Jardine Pacific.
